The Merida Mission CX 5000 is a race ready CycloCross Bike built to perform at the highest levels. Everything about the Mission CX 5000 is built to go fast, starting with the lightweight CF3 Carbon Frame which is stiff, durable and paired with a carbon fork to help with vibrations and improve control. Carbon Fork:Â All MISSION CX models feature a full carbon tapered fork with a 12 mm bolt through axle. The bolt through improves stiffness for the axle, whilst the tapered carbon steerer increases vertical stiffness, providing very precise steering and enhanced confidence in corners.
Adaptability:Â All our MISSION CX models have the ability to add mudguards, making them more versatile, particularly when used as a training or commuting bike. The removable seat stay bridge (not available on aluminium models) stays in place to securely hold the rear mudguard or gets removed for a cleaner look and improved mud clearance.
Smart Entry:Â On our MISSION CX models, cables, housings and brake hoses are clamped under tension to prevent rattling when the trail gets rough. All inlets are completely interchangeable to deal with Di2, hydraulic hoses, brake and gear cable housings etc.
